Sadness... Fills my Heart

It seems that pacing has been a huge problem with the overall story; The situation finally came to a head two days ago, when a massive cut was made to the story, to shave off excess bumps. As a result, the story is now better paced, but I feel is too short (of course, only a few seconds were cut off, so it's really just irrational sense of loss I'm feeling.)

Also, Shot 11 is being put in the CBBs of Post production. :( again.

The paperStacks Run (shot3) has been cut, since it seemed to be fighting the climax for attention rather than building up to it. I don't have time to try and figure out why, so the best solution is to cut it, and think about it afterwards. The resulting scenes will be changed to fit continuity.

Somehow I just don't think that Bob is working hard enough now in his scene. I just can't seem to get over it. It's like he didn't do his cardio before his workout, you know? Perhaps it's because I've just gotten used to "that paper forest scene that I'll get to eventually," and i kinda feel out of place now that that's been cut.

Well that's the eulogy for the forest chase.

Still need animators.

Okay, i understand that the format is really ridiculous, and that there is absolutely NO regard for where a shot stars and ends... but there it is... a color key for most of the film. So i can finally have something to show! :D (even if it's not done...) I'll make it much for presentable after i finish soon, But for now I HAVE to get something to Bridget, so... :P and it helps tie almost everything together. WE ARE STILL MOVING ALONG PUTT PUTT >:)

the art forum

So I have uploaded a new cut on vimeo, but you will have to email me your vimeo account name so i can add you to the list of people that can watch. It's for security, but if everyone just finds that too bothersome i can arrange other settings for the cuts.

So i was trying to get bob to animate today... and one thing led to another, and then before i knew it, i was fixing his blends on his arms , what with the vertices and component editor. And then I remembered that i was supposed to be animating. So i have to make this post to remind myself that although i would like perfect deformations on Bob wherever he moves his arms, ANIMATING is what i should be doing.

AND IN OTHER AWESOME NEWS, some AESOEM PEOPLE liek have joined my crew! So that means that all of you reading this are not so alone anymore! :D

And i really have to start getting my crew on the blog so they can post too? that would be nominal, yes?

Working out the timing!

Hey! it's been a while, you must be wondering where the movie is. well it's coming along, but like a spastic epileptic, the movie right now is suffering from bad timing and pace. So as I am typing this, i am actually procrastinating from the immediate task of re-timing out the shots. Once i have that finalized to the next degree, i shall block to my heart's satisfied content!

On another note, my inner struggle (lol mine kampf, but nothing like the german connotations) has been that I've been using other people's scripts to get my rigs done. but as it turns out, my struggles are unfounded as it is common practice! I just have to credit everyone that has helped me make my life easier, which I will most obviously do! So that's one emotional load off my back, and i can proceed with my reel makings in time for the hunting season (for jobs, of course. my reel will be like my gun, it will shoot as far as i can polish it...)
